About Me
Hi, my name is Catherine! I’m a bilingual speech-language pathologist with a Master of Science in Communicative Disorders, licensed in California and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I have extensive experience providing online therapy in Spanish and English for clients across the lifespan—from toddlers to adults over 100.
I grew up in California and spent my late teens, early 20s living in Argentina, which deepened both my love for language and my commitment to culturally responsive care. My clinical work has spanned early intervention, stroke rehabilitation, executive functioning, social communication, articulation, voice, and more. I specialize in neurological rehabilitation, with a special focus on helping individuals rebuild and reclaim their communication after brain injury.
What also shapes my work is something more personal: I live with a chronic illness and chronic pain. Navigating life with an invisible disability has transformed how I show up as a clinician—with greater empathy, flexibility, and deep respect for each person’s inner world and lived experience. I understand how communication, identity, and access can be profoundly impacted by illness, and I’m here to support others in finding their voice—whether that’s with healthcare providers, loved ones, or themselves.
Outside of my clinical work, I’m an artist and musician. I paint, sing, explore nature, and travel extensively. I also co-lead Creative Connections, an art-based communication coaching program for people living with chronic illness and neurological injury, blending the healing power of expression, story, and connection.
If you're seeking a provider who will honor your full self - body, mind, voice, and story - I'm here, and I’d be honored to support your journey.
